Hi, I’m Clinton Durham, a graphic designer and production artist based in Portsmouth, Virginia, with more than a decade of experience in print, branding, large-format graphics, signage, and production-ready design.
My work spans vehicle and fleet graphics, wall wraps, window graphics, decals, signage, logos, brochures, business cards, and custom specialty applications. Over more than eight years with AGWraps, I worked on projects for businesses, universities, government and military organizations, entertainment venues, hospitality clients, commercial fleets, and regional institutions, including Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Old Dominion University, Norfolk State University, SevenVenues, Rosie’s Gaming Emporium, and Wyndham Garden Norfolk.
I enjoy the point where design leaves the screen and becomes something tangible. My experience includes working directly with customers both face-to-face and remotely, gathering project requirements, measuring vehicles and architectural spaces, developing concepts, creating and revising proofs, preparing production-ready artwork, and coordinating with production teams and installers through final output.
I’m comfortable tackling everything from established brand systems and large-scale commercial graphics to unusual custom projects that require practical problem-solving and adaptability. I also have experience training new designers and production staff, organizing complex workflows, and using AI-assisted tools for ideation, writing, research, and planning while keeping creative decisions human-led.
At the heart of my work is a straightforward goal: create thoughtful, effective design that communicates clearly, works in the real world, and serves the people who need it.
My artwork entitled "Dr. Strangelove", is on display at the website of La Cinémathèque Française, a prestigious film institute, academy and museum, as part of their Stanley Kubrick exhibition. I am greatly honored to have my work displayed at such an internationally renowned institution. You can view the display here.
